Having had a particularly significant birthday recently I found myself invited to a festival, in particular Imelda May at Chagstock in Devon!
I had been invited to photograph a motorcycle event earlier in the day on Saturday, there was a certain logic to attempting the shoot first and then travelling across the lanes to the chosen field. The bike do was a great event, I’ll post about it later.
I initially told myself I wasn’t going to take a camera in to Chagstock, you know, just chill and enjoy things. Had I not done the BMW gig first I wouldn’t have had the Nikons with me, but I relented, took one in and then sauntered back to the car-park for more gear (cameras fool).
I will put a separate Imelda gallery up later, it really was a spectacular performance, I’m still there in my mind.
