Photographing Cars with a Boom rig
To be honest it had been a tiring day, I’d done the Topsham to Turf swim but as I was told by Karin, time waits for no-one. Well, it was something like that.
This is a test shoot, we’ve got some more vehicle shoots coming up but the Volvo is quite a funky design so it was worth a shot. Apart from clearing the boom and suction cups up this image hasn’t really been ‘Photoshopped’ the effect comes from moving the camera at exactly the same pace as the car and from a fixed position, Lightroom is enough to add a bit of pop to the image. For the record it’s not even high spreed, I’m jogging beside: I don’t want to lose the Nikon or the 14-24 lens!
