New York Architectural Photography
OK let’s be clear, these are a few of my New York holiday snaps, (I lost count of the number of people who asked if I was going to New York on photography business) and this is a small sample of the feast of photographic imagery though, I will be posting more. These are buildings, people can be found here.
We were lucky, the sun was bright and clear on most days and my how the light translates well on the street and across the water.
The juxtaposition of old and new as ever adds depth and excitement as well as controversy. Zaha Hadid’s building reflecting earlier epochs as the trail of people walk by being gently processed on their morning constitutional visit to The Highline.
Construction is omnipresent with new buildings attempting to take their personal brand to the ever changing skyline.
