I was recently contacted by the RIBA Journal to photograph Alex Thomas of Timber Workshop. The images were to support an article being written about Alex.
The workshop is near Totnes and supplied reasonable settings for a selection of images. Im truth, the article only needed a couple of shots of Alex but more were taken to allow options for style and page layout.
The workshop was a busy working environment so I made the call to use natural light and a relaxed feel to the shots.
